In today's fast-paced world, the quest for serenity and well-being is more pertinent than ever. At Doctoravital Med Spa, we embrace a holistic approach to wellness, understanding that the path to healing transcends physical treatments. The PNS, often referred to as the "rest and digest" system, is part of the autonomic nervous system responsible for conserving energy and promoting a state of calmness. When activated, it helps slow the heart rate, and to increase heart rate variability, which is associated with reduced risk of cardiovascular diseases. (1) 

The relaxation response is not just a momentary reprieve but a doorway to profound health benefits including reduced stress levels, and enhanced immune function. (2)

It also increases intestinal and gland activity, and relax sphincter muscles in the gastrointestinal tract. The enteric nervous system (ENS), often referred to as the body's "second brain," and its interaction with the central nervous system, it’s a key feature that can play a role not only in digestive health (improving gastrointestinal motility, enhancing digestion, and reducing symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders), but also in mental health. Our tailored aromatherapy specially made for us by Synthesis Organics, certified organic and energy imbued, can soothe, energize, and refresh the mind and body. Our blend has Ylang Ylang, Neroli, Cedarwood, Geranium, Grapefruit and Fragonia essential oils. They promote not only a deep state of relaxation, lowering anxiety and stress responses. The blend also promotes grounding, and connection with the self, with mood improving and uplifting. All of our spaces (with the exception of the laser room) have this aromatherapy as a gift from us for you to enjoy and heal. 

Nature Sounds: The Symphony of Serenity

The soothing sounds of nature, whether the gentle patter of rain or the soft rustle of leaves, have a profound effect on the brain. They can lower cortisol levels and increase the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and relaxation. This auditory experience not only enhances mental well-being but also activates the PNS, furthering the body's natural restorative processes.

Our med spa's architectural design, with its soft colors, illumination, art pieces. and harmonious layout, creates a visually calming atmosphere that encourages relaxation. Reiki: a way to heal through energy balancing

We believe in holistic practices to complement traditional medicine. With that into consideration, all the space is imbued with Reiki to balance your vital energy from the moment you walk in. Our team has at least 2 levels of Tibetan Usui Reiki, to ensure that even with a hand shake, you will receive a healing touch.
